You
May Want Database Driven Pages On Your Website If:
 |
You have many products that
you want potential customers to be able to search for and view
|
 |
You have categorized
information that you want people to be able to access
|
 |
You have data that you want
to make public
|
 |
You have sales information
such as inventories and cost sheets that you want your sales
force to have available to them in the field as these items
change
|
|
Database driven pages allow
for a great deal of information to be made available. As
the information in the database is changed, those changes are
immediately available to the viewer. That means that if
the price of the xyz widget goes up on Tuesday, that information
is available to those who need it immediately upon posting the
new price to the database.
Databases can also be used to
generate pages such as one would find on a realtor's Website.
The database loads the information about a particular property
on the page so the viewer can learn about a prospective new
home.
